The Gist: In order to prove Facebook was at the center of the global gaming conversation, a mission control center inspired structure was erected in the center of Microsoft Square during E3 2016. Facebook showcased their latest tools from 360° Video, Facebook Live and their partnership with Oculus. Gamers enjoyed three days of live real-time data visualizations, live broadcasts from inside the LACC Expo floor and popularity heat maps showing what games are getting the most online traffic.
In addition, meeting rooms were designed to host CMO meetings just above the main floor.
